Airsorted looks to global expansion following £5 million investment

Airsorted, a hosting management specialist, has raised £5 million in Series A funding.

Investors in the round for the London-based company include Pi labs and Atami Capital.

The company, whose total funding stands at £6.5 million following a previous seed round, says it has managed more than 3,000 properties and £25 million in bookings across platforms including Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com and HomeAway.

It has also launching a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs with a target of raising £1 million.

The new funds will go towards expanding the company globally with a plan to expand into 38 new cities by the end of 2019.

Further development of its technology including automatic communication with guests and channel management via API is also in the pipeline.

The Airsorted platform brings all of a host’s booking from various third party sites to one place and also enables them to create listing, keep track of maintenance and liaise with guests.

Airsorted founder and CEO, James Jenkins-Yates says:

“With our Series A funding and newly launched crowdfunding campaign, we want to expand our offering further to not only provide hosts with peace of mind when offering their homes to travellers, but also to guests by ensuring they have the most seamless stay possible. One of the ways we do this is by providing guests 24-hour check-in, which cuts out one the of the many pain points associated with home sharing.”
