Serko Ltd., an online travel booking and expense management company based in Auckland, New Zealand, will test additional Routehappy content in its new premium online corporate booking tool, Zeno.
The Australia-based company will be the first company to integrate Routehappy Hub Universal Product Attribute and Universal Ticket Attribute content into a corporate booking tool.
The additional content is currently in beta testing with selected clients.
The decision follows the successful integration of Routehappy Scores & Amenities into itineraries in Serko Online, the company’s existing booking tool, and Zeno.
Universal Product Attributes (UPAs) showcase in-flight features through descriptive text, photos and videos.
Universal Ticket Attributes (UTAs) display ticket benefits and restrictions, like seat selection, baggage allowance, boarding priority and change information, in customer-friendly language.
UPAs are shown to users in search results, while UTAs are presented when the fare or fare family has been selected.
The corporate travel specialist has offices in Australia, China, India and the US.
It claims a large footprint in Australasia, with more than 50% of organizations in the region using Serko Online as their online booking tool.
Darrin Grafton, Serko chief executive officer, said the expanded Routehappy subscription, combined with the new Zeno platform, is a key value-add for travelers and airlines.
“The key shift with this partnership is to merge the airline’s dot-com content into the business platform of the future,” he said.
Among Serko’s clients are Microsoft, KPMG and Siemens.
Its travel management company partners include American Express Global Business travel, Helloworld and FCm Travel Solutions.
