TurnKey raises $21 million for ongoing expansion and tech push

TurnKey Vacation Rentals has raised $21 million in Series C funding.
The company has raised a total of $41 million since 2013 with this latest round led by Adams Street Partners as well as existing investors Altos Ventures, Silverton Partners and angel investors.
TurnKey claims to be the third-largest vacation rental property management company in the US and is expanding further with plans to open offices in Phoenix and Panama City as well as Oregon.
The company, which was founded in 2012, also says it plans to double the number of properties it manages in 2017 as well as further develop its technology platform.
TurnKey is introducing virtual tours, floorplans and 3D models of its homes.
The vacation rental specialist raised seed funding of $1.5 million in August 2013 followed by a larger round of $3 million just under a year later and a $10 million round in March 2016.
The vacation rental sector continues to develop at a fast pace as well as attract investor attention.
GuesttoGuest raised $35 million recently and acquired competitor HomeExchange.
Meanwhile, AccorHotels entered negotiations to by US-based Travel Keys.
