Inntopia acquires intel-provider Destimetrics

Destimetrics, a market intelligence system for hotels and destinations, has been bought by Inntopia.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founder Ralf Garrison and the Destimetrics team will be retained as part of the acquisition.

The deal comes just two months after Inntopia acquired marketing and digital customer services provider Ryan Solutions, also for an undisclosed fee.

Inntopia CEO Trevor Crist says:

“The acquisition of DestiMetrics will serve as one of the foundational pieces of our upcoming Business Intelligence offering.”

“It is a great addition to Inntopia’s product set, and existing DestiMetrics clients will be able to automate their reporting through our API libraries, and generate on-demand reports.”

Destimetrics was created in 2004, primarily to serve mountain-based providers of services in the North American travel industry.

It has since expanded to cover beach destinations.
