Trainline goes mobile for corporates

  • Trainline For Business has given travel management companies and business travellers the ability to use barcoded mobile tickets on 11 train operators in the UK. The app features real-time information (such as platform departures and how busy a train is), live journey tracking and notifications.

Wednesday 2 November 2016:

British Airways puts wifi on short-haul network

  • The carrier and its sister airlines – Aer Lingus, Vueling and Iberia – will begin rolling out on-board connectivity from 2017 on all short-haul routes. The technology will be provided by Inmarsat.

Gogo and iPass extend agreement

  • The partnership will give iPass customers the ability to connect to wireless services on Gogo Wifi-enabled flights. Some 2,800 aircraft worldwide are fitted with Gogo’s technology.
