Sabre opens regional HQ in Uruguay
- The Latin America HQ for Sabre will be in the Uruguayan city of Montevideo, headed by recently appointed vice president for the region and the Caribbean, Ricardo Carreon. He was previously general manager for the same geographic area for NCR Corporation, with earlier positions at Intel and Novell.

Knowcross expands operations
- The hotel intelligence IT provider has recently expanded and relocated its London, UK, office as it looks to grow its European business. Similar efforts are being made in Asia-Pacific, where Knowcross will open a Singapore base this month.
TRVL hires industry veteran
- Arthur Hoffman joins the trip planning service as its chief operating officer, having spent the past two years at Sanoma. Hoffman had a string of jobs at Expedia between 2004 and 2014, including president of Expedia Affiliate Network and managing director of the company in Asia-Pacific, as well as general manager for strategy and systems delivery at Qantas.

FastBooking MD for France and Northern Europe
- Eric Peyrard will oversee operations for the hotel technology company in the region, having joined in June this year. He was previously chief operating officer for AvailPro between May 2010 and October 2015, with previous stints at GE Commercial Finance and Mandriva.
